이화동 마을박물관 (Ihwa-dong Village Museum)

이화동의 동명은 현재 이화동 2번지에 있던 이화정(梨花亭)에서 유래되었다. 일명 ‘생활사 박물관’이라고 일컬어지는 이 곳은 메인 전시관으로, 여러 전시관 중 가장 의미 있는 장소이다.

<이화동 마을박물관>의 1층에는 이화동 주민들이 실제 사용하던 생활품과 사진 등을 기증받아 전시하였다. 2층 전시실에는 이화동 국민주택 설계와 시공, 변천사를 한눈에 볼 수 있다

. 

대들보에 걸려 있는 옛날 자전거부터 냄비, 소쿠리, 주걱, 항아리 등 주변에서 흔하게 볼 수 있는 각종 생활도구들이 정겹다. 1층 벽면에 전시된 옛 사진들은 1963년 이화동에서 태어나 현재까지 3대가 함께 살고 있는 이상기 씨가 기증하였다. 이 사진들은 한 개인의 생활사와 함께, 그들이 경험하고 사진으로 남긴 마을의 변화상 등을 두루 살필 수 있는 좋은 자료가 된다.

The name Lee Hwa-dong originated from the Ewha Women's Association, which was located at 2 Hwa-dong. It is the main exhibition hall called the "Life Cycle Museum" and the most meaningful place among many.

On the first floor of <Ihwa-dong Village Museum>, the donated items and photos of residents of Ihwa-dong are displayed. In the exhibition room on the second floor, you can see the design, construction and history of the IHwa-dong National Housing.

It has a variety of lifestyle tools that are commonly found in the surrounding areas, ranging from old bicycles hanging on the beam to pots, spooks and pots. The old photographs displayed on the wall of the first floor were donated by Lee Sang-ki, who was born in Hwa-dong in 1963 and lived with three generations until now. Together with a person's life cycle, these photographs provide a good way to observe the changing aspects of the village they experienced and left behind.
